about

Hi. I’m Kaori, and I’m an independent consultant.
What does that mean?

It means I’m someone organizations and brands turn to when they need clarity, strategy, or a fresh perspective to solve complex challenges and create lasting impact.

With over a decade of experience in strategic planning, impact analysis, and scaling new initiatives, I specialize in navigating the intersections of technology, the arts, and social change. My collaborative, data-driven approach helps teams not only achieve their goals but also lay the foundation for sustainable growth.

I’ve helped launch projects that have received exclusive coverage in TIME Magazine and The Washington Post and earned prestigious awards, including Webby Awards and Fast Company Innovation Awards—recognitions awarded to my clients for the impactful work we did together.

I’m honored to have been selected as a judge for the Shorty Awards, which recognize excellence in digital media. In 2016, I was named a Fellow for Emerging Leaders in Public Service (FELPS), a program that celebrates leaders making an impact in public service.

With degrees from the University of Tokyo and the London School of Economics, I bring a global perspective and a talent for cutting through the noise to focus on what truly matters.

When I’m not tackling creative challenges, you’ll probably find me picking tomatoes—or searching for four-leaf clovers. 🍀
